Date: Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th April 2017
Place: Church Langley Water Tower, Harlow
We're teamed up with The Rotary Club of Harlow Tye to offer you this incredible experience at the 120ft Church Langley Water Tower in Harlow, Essex. For taking part you will receive a charity t-shirt to wear on the day, sponsor forms, a certificate and personal photo which is taken at the top of the tower.
Whether you’re scared of heights or just fancy a challenge, abseiling is a great way to test your nerve and is guaranteed to get the adrenaline flowing! Whether you’ve tried abseiling before or are a complete novice, a charity abseil is the perfect opportunity to have an adventure and face your fears while raising money.
Unlike many other charity sport events, abseiling can be undertaken by people of all ages and abilities meaning that nobody is left out and everybody gets to play their part in fundraising.
The water tower is a conical bowl shaped structure with a central access shaft, which holds the spiral steel stairway you will use to climb to the roof before your decent.
Registration Fee: £35 (payable in advance to cover event costs)
Minimum Sponsorship: £100
Registration Deadline: 18th April 2017
Registration will close as soon as all the places are filled. This usually doesn't take very long so we recommend that you get your completed forms and registration fee sent to us as soon as possible. All places are allocated on a ‘first received, first registered’ basis and places cannot be reserved.
Please note that to participate in this event, you must be 16 years old, or over, on the day. There is no upper age limit. Participants under 18 years old must have parental consent.
