Our COVID-19 Journey

Like most other businesses and charities, 2020 has presented us with some of the most challenging months we have ever faced.

In March we were forced to furloughed our staff to protect their jobs and the future of the charity. Over the weeks and months that followed, we were overwhelmed by the love and support that we received from the public to help us survive this pandemic. Without your donations, fundraisers and social media shares, we simply wouldn't be here today - THANK YOU!

Our staff are now returning to work, some part time and some working from home where possible.  This means that we have been able to get some of our family support projects back up and running, which is great news!

We are still not raising as much money as we were prior to COVID-19, but we understand that it is difficult for businesses or individuals to donate to charities when their own businesses might be struggling, or their household income has been reduced. We just hope that those who are able to donate or fundraise, will continue to and by doing so will help us to continue surviving during the coming months.

There are many ways to show your support, and some wont cost you a penny! Please continue sharing, fundraising and donating to help us through this tough time. You could arrange your own fundraising activity, take on a virtual challenge, make a one-off or monthly donation, share our social media posts or look at the the activities on the 'Get Involved' page for lots more ideas.
