Emergency Appeal

Due to the current economical climate, 2009 has been our hardest year to date and fundraising is now at an all time low. We receive no government funding which means that we rely solely on donations from the public. Many businesses that support us regularly have been closing down and so finding funds is now harder than ever before!

The Lennox faces an uncertain future if we do not take action now and so we’re launching an emergency appeal!

On behalf of all the children and families who need your help, we’re asking you to help us raise £100,000 to ensure the charity can continue running.

Please click the image below to donate to the Lennox’s Emergency Appeal today!

This appeal is supported by Time FM Radio and Link FM Radio

With grateful thanks to Jimmy Lowe for his support through Time FM

You can also support us by holding an event on our behalf.

  • Are you sporty? You could take part in a marathon or a sponsored skydive!
  • Are you or someone you know in a darts, snooker or bowls team? Could you hold a charity event?
  • Would your local pub landlord or landlady hold a quiz night or race night for us?
  • Does your child’s school hold bake days or non-uniform days? You could put the Lennox forward to be their selected charity.
  • Do you have a contact who could organise an even bigger event such as a ball or bunjee jump?

Please get in contact and let us know! We need as much help as possible and your support means more to us than you could imagine.

If none of the above appeal to you or you’d like to do a little extra something to help, why not hold a ’Name the Cuddly Toy Competition’ at work? Click here for more information or call us on 01708 734366 to request a pack.

NAME THE CUDDLY TOY

This is a simple and effective way of raising funds without needing to spend too much time away from your desk.

This is how it works:

  • We’ll post you a beautiful cuddly toy (like the one below), a gamecard and a poster.
  • Simply encourage colleagues, friends and family to guess the name of the toy from the choices on the gamecard.
  • They each donate £1 per guess.
  • Once all the names have been chosen, peel off the sticker on the gamecard to reveal the winning name
  • Give the cuddly toy to the winner as their prize and then forward the funds you’ve raised to us.

It really is that simple!

BIG DRAW FUNDRAISER

If a Name the Cuddly Toy Competition isn’t for you. The Big Draw Fundraiser may be just the thing you’re looking for and it’s so simple and with every £1 donation is the opportunity to win £250!

  • We’ll post you a donation sheet and a poster.
  • All you have to do is encourage colleagues, friends and family to donate their space change and then fill in their details on the donation sheet (we promise not to use this to pester them with requests for more money).
  • For every £1 they donate, we’ll give one entry into the next Big Draw which takes place approx every six weeks. For example, donate £5 and get five chances of winning upto £250!
  • Then all you need to do is forward the donation sheet and the funds you’ve raised to us.
