EPPING FOREST SPONSORED WALK IS A SUCCESS!

Picture
Thank you to everyone who took part in the six mile sponsored walk around the beautiful Epping Forest on Sunday 5th June. Although, the sun was nowhere to be seen, the rain held off and what little drizzle was seen failed to dampen the spirits of walkers.
Event organiser, Vanessa Goulding, opened the walk by sounding a fog horn and off set the 70 walkers, full of energy and all proudly wearing Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund t-shirts.
The King’s Oak Pub in High Beach, kindly provided snacks at the halfway point and everyone had a short cool down before getting back on their way towards the finish at Chingford Plain.
Participants were met at the end by an ice cream van where everyone also received a goody bag and certificate.
Thank you to the many supporters who helped to make this event happen, including the Sainsbury’s Depot at Waltham Point who provided bottled water for the participants and everyone who raised funds by taking part!

EGGS-TRA SPECIAL EASTER FOR CHILDREN ON TROPICAL LAGOON CHILDREN'S WARD

Picture
For several weeks, the staff and customers of Office Angels in Romford have been collecting Easter eggs to be donated to the Tropical Lagoon children's ward at Queen's Hospital in Romford just in time for Easter weekend.
Two Lennox staff and an Office Angels representitive hand delivered the eggs to children on the cancer ward and some of their brothers and sisters. Additional chocolate eggs will be used as prizes in an Easter colouring competition and some will be hidden around the ward in preparation for an Easter egg hunt!
Thank you to everyone at Office Angels who help to organise this Easter egg collection and to the wonderful staff in the Tropical Lagoon children's ward for their hospitality during our visit.
