Mad Chat Charity Gig

5/4/2016

Pete Lacey and Steve Farthing have been fundraising for Lennox since last Summer, and now have many successful events under their belts!

Their Mad Chat fundraising page on JustGiving has raised £6,274 - more than double their initial target! This has been achieved through a variety of events and fundraising activities, including two charity gigs, auctions, raffles, generous donations, matched giving from Barclay's Bank, ticket tales and cake/merchandise sales.

Pete and Steve's latest fundraising venture was a Mad Chat charity gig featuring the fantastic ska band 'Acoustic Skadom'! Natalie Thurlow popped along to represent the charity at The Dublin Castle Pub in Camden, and found herself saving the day after the sound guy didn't turn up. We later found our that he had been admitted to hospital after being knocked unconscious by a speaker! He was in no fit state to help out but thankfully he is okay now! Despite the initial hiccup, everyone had a great time and the event raised over £1,022!

Thank you so much to Pete Lacey, Steve Farthing and all at Mad Chat for raising such an amazing amount of money!
