Trustee, Kevin Davis commented, "Some of our team are lucky enough to have been around since the charity’s humble beginnings at West Ham Church in Stratford, London. Back then, the charity's ethos was to support hospitals with children’s oncology wards with provisions for equipment, gifts and children’s parties. This is still a very strong part of today’s objectives, but the last 25 years have seen us vastly develop our services, with more beneficiary based projects than we have ever offered before. We are very excited and proud to be celebrating this huge achievement this year"
Vincent Fitzmaurice, our CEO, commented “We wanted to mark such an important milestone with events that celebrate the people and families who support our charity and who really make it possible for us to help the hundreds of people we do every year. We are really proud of the positive changes we have been able to make since 1992 and these events are a celebration of the hard work and commitment that everyone involved in the charity shows.”

Tony Nicholls and Ian Rudgeley , who part own the bar Kosho in Romford, are the main sponsor of the Lennox Super Hero Fun Run. Tony said “We are delighted to be supporting a local charity that does such amazing work for so many families and are really excited about the Fun Run. We have been putting on extra events in the club over the last few weeks and our customers have been very generous. We are really excited about being a part of what is going to be a fantastic family day for our community.”
As well as raising funds from another event specifically for Lennox charity, Tony will be holding a sponsored penalty shoot out with his football club Mini Kickers to raise further funds.
Vincent Fitzmaurice added, “It is local businesses and local guys like Tony and Ian that really do make these events happen. Our fundraising team do an incredible job and with the added support of guys like this who are prepared to take the time to help in any way they can is just incredible – we are extremely grateful for the support people show and are really excited to mark this fantastic milestone with friends and family of our charity.”
A series of summer events will bring the charity’s Trustees, patrons, ambassadors, employees, supporters and well-wishers together to celebrate these achievements, and raise more funds to improve our services.
