Oliver!

Picture
Oliver! was the very first musical performed by Lennox Productions volunteers in February 2007, and last week the group performed that musical again in celebration of their 10 year anniversary, as well as the 25th anniversary of the charity!

We were astounded to find out that five out of the six performances were completely sold out with many people on a waiting list hoping for returned tickets!
Those who were lucky enough to see the show, enjoyed a polished and engaging performance, which included many popular songs.

'Food Glorious Food' and 'Be Back Soon' were sung beautifully by the children, while 'Consider Yourself', 'Oom-Pah-Pah' and 'Who Will Buy?' were performed by the full ensemble with gusto. Some other classics, such as 'Where Is Love?', 'As Long As He Needs Me' and 'Reviewing The Situation' were sung by the very talented principles.

A review by Hornchurch Life said "The whole show was brilliant and a fantastic tribute to Lennox Productions' ten year anniversary at The Queen's Theatre... The whole show feels like a Broadway performance"

Thank you to the cast who have spent eight months rehearsing dramatic scenes and dance routines to make this amateur show look professional, and to the production team for their patience and hard work throughout the process. Thank you also to the orchestra, chaperones, wardrobe, hair and make up and backstage team who work tirelessly to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes!

We had a great week and can't wait to see what comes next from Lennox Productions!
