Our Family Support Team can help your family practically by providing useful information, such as...
We also understand that many families struggle with the endless form-filling and the whole process can feel completely overwhelming. There may also be certain schemes that you are entitled to that you are completely unaware of.
That is exactly why we have our expert advisors on hand to assist you with our Practical Support and help provide you with a sense of control and reduce your feelings of helplessness, as you and your family cope with a childhood cancer diagnosis. We can offer assistance with benefit & welfare applications and help apply for other forms of long-term financial support. We can also make referrals to other organisations and charities that may be able to offer aid.
We want to bring together our ever-growing community of families who know first-hand how important it is to raise awareness on childhood cancer. We therefore hope to soon be introducing community groups to our Practical Support programme, where we would like to create bonds and discussions between families facing cancer. Our Family Support Team will be in attendance at each of the groups to offer support, carry out surveys and research, brainstorm ideas with you and assist you in applications for benefits, grants or funding with our electronic tablets.
